The fourth Arab country to agree to establish peacefully diplomatic and economic ties.
On Thursday, Morocco and Israel announced the agreement to normalize relations between the two nations. President Trump facilitated the process by recognizing Moroccan authority over the disputed territory of the Western Sahara on a phone call with Morocco’s King Mohammed VI.
Jared Kushner, Senior Advisor to the President, stated, “the administration has achieved another historic milestone. President Trump has brokered a peace agreement between Morocco and Israel – the fourth such agreement between Israel and an Arab/Muslim nation in four months.”
Mr. Kushner also said that the two countries would “reopen their liaison offices in Rabat and Tel Aviv immediately with the intention to open embassies.” The two nations will promote economic interactions between their respective companies as well.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For the president’s administration as more Arab nations negotiate peaceful relations with Israel.
- For Jared Kushner and Avi Berkowitz as they work with Middle East and other Arab nations.
